Business Controller – Transportation Industry – Västerås

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to join a leading company in the transportation sector, located in Västerås. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving business improvements, and contributing to the continued growth of a technologically advanced industrial organization.

About the Role
In this position, you will work closely with engineering and project teams to provide financial insights, support workload planning, and guide offshoring activities. You will serve as a proactive business partner, ensuring high-quality financial analysis and robust processes throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial analysis, forecasting, and follow-up of engineering and industrial projects

Workload planning and coordination related to project and engineering activities

Management of offshoring processes and performance tracking

Continuous improvement of financial flows, tools, and processes

Supporting project planning within industrial and engineering environments

Driving change initiatives and contributing to business development efforts

Preparing and presenting clear, insightful reports to stakeholders in an international environment

Who We Are Looking For

A technical background in industry, engineering, or production

Strong financial profile with extensive experience working in SAP and related financial processes

Solid experience from project planning in industrial/engineering projects

Proven leadership abilities and experience in leading change and business improvement initiatives

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global organization
